Shadow Tree Concept Art

(I’ve been putting off posting this for almost a year now haha)

Shadow Tree was supposed to be our semesterproject during the 3rd and 4th semester, but unfortunately got cancelled after around 3 months.
It is about an orphaned girl who regularly goes into some sort of dream world in order to cope with her past trauma. Within this world she meets two shopkeepers, who she becomes friends with and help her through the game.
The world is split into multiple parts - a forest, beach and swampy area - full owith all sorts of glowing, magical plants and mushrooms.
The game itself is a walking simulator with an estimated playtime of around 30 minutes. Main goal is to collect multiple magical flowers, which one after another will tell the protagonists story.
